The GoDurham ACCESS Senior Shuttle is a free weekly transportation service that connects residents of select senior living communities in Durham to the grocery store.
Operated by GoDurham ACCESS and funded through the Durham County Transit Plan, the shuttle was created in response to a community-driven request from the grassroots organization End Hunger Durham to improve grocery access for seniors.
The program is a partnership between the City of Durham, End Hunger Durham, Golden Life Partnership, Durham County, and the senior living communities served by the program.
