GoDurham Connect is an on-demand microtransit service offering same-day, door-to-door transportation within East Durham and North Durham service zones.
What is GoDurham Connect?
GoDurham Connect is a flexible, on-demand ride service that comes to you. Instead of waiting at a bus stop, you can book a trip in one of our vans for door-to-door service. We offer same-day rides anywhere in the North and East Durham zones.
Certain bus stops are designated as GoDurham Connect Preferred Transfer Points. If you’re coming from outside a zone, use the bus to get off at one of these stops to enter the zone, then use GoDurham Connect to finish your ride.
GoDurham Connect Eligibility
No special qualifications are required for GoDurham Connect. It’s available to anyone, as long as trips begin and end within the designated North or East Durham service zones.

GoDurham Connect is designed to make getting around Durham easy and convenient. Please keep the following in mind when booking and taking rides.

- Ride Limits & Booking
- You can take up to 60 free rides each month.
- Trips can be booked to and from any location within or between the service zones.
- Traveling with Children
- Children ages 12 and up can ride without an adult.
- Children ages 12 and under must ride with an adult.
- Cancellations & No-Shows
- 5 or more cancellations or no-shows in one month may result in penalties such as a temporary account suspension.
- Holiday Service Hours: Holiday service hours apply on the following days:
- New Year’s Day (January 1)
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day (3rd Monday in January)
- Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
- Juneteenth (June 19)
- Independence Day (July 4)
- Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
- Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November)

How do I know if I can use GoDurham Connect for my ride?
To see if you can use GoDurham Connect for your ride, check your addresses using one of the following methods:
- Interactive map: Enter your pickup and drop-off addresses into the interactive map to determine if they fall within the service zone.
- By phone: When booking your ride over the phone with one of our reservations agents, ask them to confirm if your locations are within a service zone.
- GoDurham ACCESS app: Enter your pickup and drop-off addresses. If both addresses are within a zone, “GoDurham Connect” will automatically appear as a ride option.
When should I be ready for my ride?
Be ready for your ride at least 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
